She hunted eggs and her basket, then we headed to Boston for our favorite Easter brunch at the Hyatt Harborside. We had a private room again this year, even though we were down in numbers. It was directly across from the kid room which the same wonderful woman staffs each year, the kids can watch Disney movies and make bracelets and decorate eggs and color...you name it, it's there. Arden and Annette's 'little sister' Sabrina loved it and spent much of the time in there making gifts. Mostly for Annette.
After brunch we came home and got out of our fancy clothes and played outside in the fabulous warm weather. The Bunny brought the kid sidewalk crayons, we played football and just lounged in the sun.
Arden's night ended with a viewing of The Princess and the Frog, and now Dora and I are watching The Blind Side, which the Bunny included in *my* basket. This is on its way to being my new favorite flick...right up there with Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail.
It's been a great but exhausting weekend. Happy Easter, y'all!
Pictures!
Starting her hunt
That would have been a clever place to hide an egg. We didn't think of it, but she did. She loves this box. I wonder why we bother buying the child toys.
Eggs were high and low
Creepy half headed Dora basket.
Finding The Princess and Frog in the front closet
With her loot
Attempting to get some good photos. Attempting being the operative word.
