A fair amount of thought went into the title of this blog. An offshoot of The Doodlebug Chronicles, where we tracked, albeit somewhat intermittently, the first four years of Arden's life, this blog will be a bigger snapshot of our life as couple #117. On May 17th, 2004, around 2AM, we were the 117th couple to receive our marriage license in Cambridge, MA. The 117th couple to be granted the right to legally marry. Which we did, May 21, 2004.
So this is our story, as parents to the most brilliant, gorgeous, frustratingly logical yet insanely imaginative girl named Arden. As a two-mom family, as a two full-time working mom family in the great (although cold) state of Massachusetts.
